Deadline for the evaluation: October 2022
Members of the commission: 3 people (the commission does not include the supervisor)
Documentation during the assessment:
- individual research plan and its corrections,
- opinions of the supervisor and council regarding IPB,
- report on the implementation IPB with attachments (the report covers the first and second years),
- achievements: publications, parts of the dissertation - materials submitted on an electronic medium (see below),
- supervisor's opinion.

NOTE: for organizational reasons, the materials necessary for the mid-term evaluation, mainly publications, ready parts of the dissertation, should be submitted to the Office of Dagees on three media - one for each member of the commission - by 5 September. The need to attach the above-mentioned materials is related to the evaluation of the doctoral student's achievements by the committee.
MID-TERM ASSESSMENT CRITERIA:
- the level of implementation of research tasks specified in the individual research plan (level of advancement of the research project implementation),
- scientific level of the doctoral candidate's achievements related to the scientific activity specified in the individual research plan,
- achievement of the learning outcomes planned in IPB for qualifications at PQF level 8 (based on the analysis of documentation and an interview with a doctoral candidate).
The mid-term evaluation can be negative or positive. The evaluation is accompanied by a justification of the evaluation, which is open to the doctoral candidate and the supervisor.
On the basis of the documents submitted by the doctoral candidate and an interview with the doctoral candidate, each member of the commission fills in an opinion form. The Commission analyzes:
- adequacy of the doctoral candidate's scientific activity and the dissemination of its results, specified in the individual research plan, to the learning outcomes for qualifications at PQF level 8 - are these plans structured in such a way that solving research problems being the subject of doctoral dissertations is accompanied by research activity doctoral candidates and disseminating its results to a degree that guarantees the achievement of learning outcomes specified for the qualifications at the level of PQF 8;
- the level of achievement of learning outcomes for qualifications at level 8 of PQF specified in the individual research plan - whether the planned learning outcomes were achieved and whether the methods used optimally lead to their achievement
- the level of scientific achievements of doctoral candidates related to the scientific activity specified in the individual research plan - assessment of the level of the most important achievements of doctoral candidates in terms of the scientific significance of these achievements (achievements of doctoral candidates related to the implementation of an individual research plan)
- the level of implementation of research tasks specified in the IPB (level of advancement of the research project implementation)
- threats to the successful implementation of an individual research plan (risks)
assessment of the date of submission of the doctoral dissertation specified in the individual research plan in terms of the feasibility / recommendation to change the date
other (for example: internationalization of scientific activity, interdisciplinarity).
