Participation in the International FEBS 2025 Congress

Recep Küçükdoğru, a PhD candidate at the Doctoral School of Kazimierz Wielki University and a research assistant at the Department of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Faculty of Biological Sciences, represented the university at the prestigious 49th Congress of the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS 2025), held in Istanbul.

During the congress, he presented the results of his research in the form of a scientific poster entitled “The impact of TPM2 mutations associated with myopathy on troponin-dependent actomyosin regulation”. His work focuses on the molecular mechanisms underlying genetic mutations linked to muscle diseases.

A special recognition of his scientific contribution was the scholarship awarded by the congress committee, highlighting the significance of his research achievements on the international stage.
