Article 77(13). Applications for the issuance of a national visa for the purpose referred to in Article 60(1)(points 9, 12, and 13) shall be processed with priority given to foreigners admitted to a doctoral school.
Article 145(1a). A foreigner undertaking education in a doctoral school shall be granted the first permit referred to in Article 144(1) for a period of 2 years and 6 months.
Article 145(4) A subsequent permit referred to in Article 144 shall be granted for the duration of the studies or for the duration of a preparatory course for undertaking such studies, extended by 3 months, and in the case of doctoral candidates – by 6 months, but not exceeding 3 years.
Article 144(1) concerns a temporary residence permit for the purpose of studying.
